About the Event
Program: Construction Spending, Labor and Materials Outlook—Ken will bring his unique national perspective of the economy relating to the Construction Industry.
Presenter: Ken Simonson, Chief Economist, AGC of America, Arlington, VA. Ken has over 45 years of experience analyzing, advocating and communicating about economic and tax issues. He has been has providing insight into what is happening
to the economy and what it implies for construction and related industries for AGC members since 2001.
Program: Nebraska Economic Outlook—Eric will provide the statewide economic perspective as it relates to development, construction and renovation in vertical construction and related industries. He will also address the impact of the pandemic
to the Nebraska economy and how it may or may not afect the construction industry locally.
Presenter: Dr. Eric Thompson, W.W. Marshall Associate Professor of Economics and the Director of the Bureau of Business Research at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Eric’s research examines the sources and consequences of state and local economic growth and the economics of infrastructure.
