About the Event

ICF construction combines reinforced concrete, continuous insulation, air and vapor control and attachment surfaces into a single high-performance wall assembly.


This presentation will provide architects, engineers and design professionals with a practical understanding of how ICF wall systems are designed, specified and constructed, as well as where they can provide advantages over conventional wall assemblies.

Topics will include:

  • Understanding ICF wall assemblies and how they function

  • Structural design and reinforced concrete core options

  • Continuous insulation and the elimination of thermal bridging
